Braaied Brandy Banana Splits
Hi guys! Here’s how to make Braaid Brandy Banana Splits with Justin Bonello (he’s also a Braai Master… Like me). The recipe is from his new Book: Road Tripping with Justin Bonello.
You will need:
Start by injecting brandy into the banana with a syringe.
Braai them on moderate coals until they are dark brown on both sides.
While the bananas are on the go, melt butter in a small saucepan and stir in the sugar until it dissolves; add a splash of brandy to the sauce… (Flambé)! Add a dash of cinnamon and stir.
Take the bananas off the heat and while they are still warm, slice them open lengthwise. Drizzle on the sauce and serve with ice cream.
Or if you want to be a little bit more fancy, add some sprinkles and cream and a cherry.
